While the updating process was a smooth one for most, it wasn’t for everyone, and the Windows team were receiving mail about activation issues. It ended up being about as straightforward as updating the software on your mobile devices. Most people managed to update successfully without any issues. People were pretty nervous about what it would take to get their free copies of Windows 10 up and running using nothing but a digital license with Windows Update.
